Too Much High-Intensity Exercise Could Hurt Heart Health

On the heels of research suggesting too much running could lead to an earlier death, two new studies say too much high-intensity exercise could lead to heart problems.

The first, conducted by German researchers, followed more than 1,000 people mostly in their 60s, who had existing heart disease and had enrolled in an exercise program to prevent further heart health issues. As hypothesized, the least physically active people were at increased risk for heart problems and earlier death. But the most active group, those who did daily strenuous physical activity, also had increased risk of dying of heart problems than people who were active only two to four times a week, according to the study.

Aritmija, povečana srčna mišica, težave, ki se pokažejo šele z leti. Z vsem tem te seznanijo tudi zdravniki (kardiologi), če jih redno obiskuješ v preventivne namene.

Kdo bi si mislu, če z nečem pretiravaš ni dobro za tvoje telo. Nič novega. To še ne pomeni, da je tek kar naenkrat kriv za vse kot je trendno govoriti zadnje čase.

Se vsekakor strinjam z napisanim toda poglej trend. Ko sem pred leti tekel ultramaratonske preizkušnje, nas je bilo na štartu 15. Danes vsaj nekaj sto. LM udeležba pred 10 leti na maratonski razdalji 420, lansko leto 1500. Nekoč smo vedeli, da lahko oddelaš kvečjemu dva, ajde tri maratone na leto. Danes tako rekoč vsak mesec eden.

Maratoni še niso tolikšen problem, večji problem so ultre, kjer se posledice začnejo kazat šele zadnja leta.

Tek je zelo zdrav, če se ga lotiš z glavo. Ni samo prelaganje ene noge pred drugo.
